Herman Miller has always been passionate about creating better working environments using the highest engineering skills to create innovative, elegant and quality products. The latest of which is Abak Environment (AE) Exchange.
These versatile workstations are simple to operate and allow you to move from a sitting position with a desk top as low as 650mm to a standing position of 1250mm at the press of a button, or seated adjustment from 650-850mm.
Height adjustable workstations were traditionally used in I.T. Suites, Control Centres and such like, but with the mandatory DDA regulations affecting disabled workers now being taken into consideration, more and more clients are looking to adjustable workstations. Herman Miller has designed in AE Exchange a product that is versatile in application, able to be utililised in a back room environment, through to light trading. As part of the Abak Environment family it has carried the same ethos of its parent product, allowing the client, through a well thought out volcabulary, the ability to build a simple desk and extend on this building block.
AE Exchange is designed for ‘Ergonomics’ and ‘Versatility’. Comprising of innovative techniques and intelligently designed features, allowing reconfiguration with minimal new components. Making AE Exchange arguably the most adaptable ergonomic office furniture system available today.

A client can start with a basic specification of workstation and then expand in the direction required: Single sided, reversely aligned. Clustering and asymetrical clustering. By changing out the actuators to enable different height adjustment methods – day 2; the clients requirements, wishes and expectations can be met.
