Media Planning Group recently relocated their UK Headquarters to 60 St Martins Lane. The Back Office Group provided full Project Management and QS services, with Interiors Group providing the design and fit out. In total 300 staff migrated across to the new HQ. Workstation / Herman Miller provided new desking, personal storage, task / meeting seating and all associated loose furniture items. Selecting the right furniture solution for MPG was key and Herman Miller’s Sense range was selected because of the elegant aesthetic, value for money and complimented the Herman Miller Sayl Task chair.

Project installation commenced December 2011, the delivery and installation period was 2 weeks.

Nigel has worked in the contract furnishing marketplace for 17 years. Prior to establishing Workstation in Spring 2001 he was Managing Director of Knoll International in the UK. Extensive track record of working in high profile “blue chip” corporate organisations and premier international interior design firms.

Justin Houghton

Justin has worked in the contract furniture market for 12 years. Prior to joining Workstation Justin spent 5 1/2 years with Steelcase where he had a variety of roles including, Procurement Team leader, Product Business Manager, Technical Sales and New Business Sales. He then joined Herman Miller for a year as Major Projects Manager.

Dan Peake

Dan has spent the last 12 years working in the contract furniture industry. Prior to working with Nigel and the team at Workstation, Dan was UK design manager for some of the best known furniture manufacturers.

Throughout his career Dan has worked on all aspects of office interiors, from huge installations for global blue-chip companies, to design concepts for cutting edge media practices

Paula has spent the last 13 years working in the contract Furniture industry, Prior to working with Nigel, Paula has been an Account Manager / Sales Administrator for some of the Main Manufactures and dealers within the industry, she has worked on quite a few major project’s within that time.

Joanna joined Workstation briefly in 2005 as a temp, leaving the Company for 18 months to return to her marketing career. She re-joined Nigel to work with various projects led by the sales and account management team, co-ordinating internal admin processes, logistics and customer service levels.

Adam Lee

Adam joined the Workstation team in the role of Senior Designer in 2011.
He has 8 years prior experience within the design, architectural and construction industries, specialising in interior spaces with graphic production and has worked with various different clients on a variety of prestigious projects.

Natalie Kindell

Natalie joined Workstation in 2008 initially in the role of Customer Service/ Sales Support and has subsequently become one of Workstation’s Account Managers. Prior to working with Nigel and the team at Workstation, Natalie graduated obtaining a 2:1 in Law at university and has experience in various customer service roles in retail.

Brian Turner

Brian has worked alongside WorkStation for the last 7 years on projectsincluding Barclays Capital and Standard Bank. Previously he held a position with Operations Manager for a large HM Dealership and later as Managing Director of a subsidiary of the WPP Group.
