Workstation London office front

The Workstation (London) Ltd is constantly looking at ways to improve the way we specify products and deliver our services to clients in a way that minimises environmental impact. Waste reduction - We are progressively minimizing material waste during packaging to have the highest possible use of recyclable materials in our workflow. The Workstation subscribes to the familiar waste management hierarchy: Reduce, reuse, recycle, then landfill.

Sustainable procurement - We work closely with our vendors for mutual improvement in our efforts toward sustainability , sharing best practice and benchmarking set in other industries. We interview suppliers and sub-contractors regarding their own initiatives in this area to build a strong environmentally sound supply chain and to contribute to the systematic reduction in our Carbon Footprint

Legal and sustainable processes and materials - The Workstation has a corporate objective to achieve full Carbon Neatrality by 2013 and be at 80% of this objective by 2011 following preliminary protocols set out by the Carbon Disclosure Project.

We are proud to be the most successful Herman Miller dealership outside of the United States and are striving to achieve the comparatively high standards set by the many initiatives that have made Herman Miller ranked in the top ten companies in the US in terms of responsibility to the environment (as voted by Fortune magazine).
