Box recently relocated their UK Headquarters to 64 North Row, London. Jones Lang Lasalle provided full Project Management and QS services, with Area Sq providing the design and fit out services. In total 250 staff migrated across to the new HQ in the Westend. Workstation / Herman Miller provided new desking, personal storage, task / meeting seating and all associated loose furniture items. Selecting the right furniture solution for Box was key as a large proportion of their staff are mobile users. Box wanted to provide the users control over their individual personal real estate, allowing them to adjust their work settings to a number of scenario’s.
Herman Miller’s Exchange range was selected because of the ability to provide fixed, pin, crank and electric height adjustment functions from a single shared platform and as a consequence maintained a clean landscape across the floor plate. This was complimented with Herman Miller Sayl Task chair.
Project installation commenced July 2013, the delivery and installation period was 1 week.
